You will need a PC that meets or exceeds the specification below. As a rule of thumb, if you have bought your computer new in the last 5 years from a reputable supplier, then it will meet the specification. For other models, please consult your system documentation in order to confirm that your system complies.
HSE estimates this software will take around 10 minutes to download using a 56k modem and a dial-up connection. Download time will be considerably less if using a broadband or similar connection.
When download is complete, run hseeag.exe to install the self-assessment software onto your PC.
The file you are about to download is an executable file that has been developed and produced by HSE.
If you have a firewall installed on your computer it may warn you that there is a security risk if you download this file as it is an .exe file. Care should be taken when running any programs downloaded from the internet, however this file has been checked by HSE for viruses and other malicious content.
