Health and Safety in the Catering and Hospitality industries is regulated mainly by Local Authorities although HSE will also regulate in certain types of premises.
The Consumer and Commercial Services Section of HSE’s Service Transport and Safety Unit (STSU) has a sector role for the hospitality industry and leads operational policy in this area.
