The four sections of CACTUS are:
Responsible for a wide range of industries including many in the local authority enforced area including retail, retail warehousing, catering and hospitality including hotels and pubs, cleaning (including window cleaning), exhibition centres, security, zoos, golf courses, charities, hair and beauty, beer delivery, builders merchants, undertakers, banks and finance, call centres, horse riding, TV repair, photographic processing and a variety of smaller consumer and business services.
Responsible for road haulage; passenger road transport; warehousing; docks and cargo handling; air transport and airport-related supporting industries; sea and coastal water transport.
Responsible for electricity generation; transmission and distribution; domestic gas safety; water storage, treatment and distribution; sewerage collection and treatment; water jetting; post and telecommunications.
Responsible for fairgrounds and amusement parks; leisure and sporting activities (including swimming pool safety); broadcasting; theatres and adventure activities.
