05.12.06 - HSE support CO awareness day and reminds people of the dangers of CO poisoning
"Encouraging public understanding is an important weapon in cutting the number of people killed or made seriously ill each year as a result of CO poisoning. Today’s awareness day is key to achieving this and communicating the message that if appliances are not properly installed and adequately maintained by a competent CORGI-registered installer, the gas may not burn properly meaning potentially deadly CO fumes are released."
24.10.06 - Carbon monoxide the silent killer The HSE issued a warning about the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. As the cold weather approaches, it has urged homeowners and landlords to ensure that their gas appliances are safe to use.
02.10.06 - Lord Hunt calls for renewed action on gas safety At a gas safety stakeholder forum on, Monday 2 October, hosted by the HSE, Lord Hunt of Kings Heath will make clear that complacency on gas related carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning is not an option.
