Mosaic C3HARGE

Ceramics, cement, concrete, heavy clay, refractories and glass manufacturing industries joint health and safety advisory committee.

C3HARGE was created to provide a forum for member industries to promote improved standards of health and safety and the ‘Revitalising Agenda’ within those industries.

Formerly known as the Ceramics Industry Advisory Committee (CERIAC ), the remit was expanded to include other mineral industries

The primary role of the body is to provide a forum for member industries to promote improved standards of health and safety and the "Revitalising agenda" within the foundries industry.

The Quarries National Joint Advisory Committee (QNJAC) membership is drawn from HSE, relevant trade associations, trade union and professional bodies.

Its aim is to promote health and safety in all sectors of the quarrying and associated industries and raise health and safety concerns.

Background

Formed in 2004 the Revitalising Network engages with manufacturing industry to promote the sharing of best practice health and safety messages.

Members

Membership is drawn primarily from Trade Associations, Employer Associations, Trade Unions and key employers in the manufacturing industry.

Workshops

Workshops are held approximately every 10 – 12 weeks and are themed to a specific revitalising topic.  Previous workshops have covered Work Place Transport, Falls from Height, Musculoskeletal Disorders, Noise and Hand Arm Vibration and most recently Fire Safety.

Web Community

Accessed by invitation only the web community provides members with a forum to discuss solutions to health and safety issues being faced.  Good networking opportunities and access to presentations from the workshops.
