Health and safety publications by non-HSE organisations

The Confederation of British Wool Textiles publishes documents entitled "Safety at Carding Machines" and "Ventilation (WSHS 1, rev. 3/98)".

Some general publications are available from BCIA Ltd, or the GMB Clothing & Textile Section. Of specific interest are also publications on Cutting Room Safety, Electrical Safety and Formaldehyde in Fabrics.

The Knitting Industries Federation also has publications on Machinery Safety and Chemicals & Dyestuffs.
